This beautiful chest rub is potentially effective to give temporary relief for chesty colds & cough, cold & flu symptoms &  sinus.  
 
Castor oil is known to be a safe & effective treatment to bring comfort & break up congestion in the chest. It is also known to be effective against inflammation in the chest. 
 
Blue Mallee Eucalyptus oil is beneficial for a chest cold due to its decongestant, anti-inflammatory & antibacterial properties. It is known to help loosen mucus & clear congestion, easing symptoms like sinus pressure & chest tightness. 
 
Lavender oil can provide relief for chest congestion & associated symptoms like pain & inflammation due to its anti-inflammatory & analgesic properties. It can also help with breathing by potentially relaxing muscles in the chest & throat. 
 
Wintergreen oil can offer potential benefits for chest congestion & respiratory discomfort by acting as a natural decongestant & pain reliever. It's believed to help clear nasal passages, making breathing easier, & its strong, fresh scent can be comforting. Additionally, the oil's pain-relieving properties, due to the presence of methyl salicylate (a natural aspirin-like compound), may help alleviate chest pain or discomfort associated with colds & flu. 
 
 
Gently rub onto chest & back at night. 
Also effective when rubbed onto the bottom of your feet before bed - place socks on after.  
 
 
Please store your chest rub in the fridge when not in use, particularly in summer as the coconut oil may soften the chest rub & could liquify. 
Leave out the fridge to warm up & soften before every use.
